Russian Film Festival in London

The 4th Russian Film Festival held between October 29 – November 7, 2010 in Apollo Cinema at Piccadilly Circus, London presents award-winning Russian films recently produced and screened in Russian with English subtitles.

The Main Programme

The program also presents Irina Evteeva’s latest film: Little Tragedies (Маленькие трагедии), based on Alexander Pushkin’s verses and Petersburg (Петербург) and Faust (Фауст).

Animation

Retrospective of Garry Bardin’s Adagio (Адажио), The Banquet (Банкет).

Special Screenings

Films based on the classics by Leo Tolstoy: Father Sergius (Отец Сергий) by Protazanov, The Living Corpse (Живой труп) by Vengerov, Anna Karenina (Анна Каренина) by Zarkhi, War and Peace (Война и мир) by Sergei Bondarchuk.
